Biography
Christine began her career in the mortgage industry over sixteen years ago, working in many facets of the business on both private label and GSE-backed assets for banks and servicers such as HSBC, Quantum Servicing, Mr. Cooper (fka Nationstar), and Selene Finance LP. Christine supported multiple departments in various roles including, but not limited to, building and managing foreclosure, litigation, title, and trial witness departments, building attorney networks, negotiating vendor contracts, supporting client relations, and working side by side with compliance on any legal matters involving federal and state regulatory compliance and governmental investigations. Christine was instrumental in recognizing and recommending internal controls and operational improvements that included the implementation of Blacknight at Quantum Servicing and Legal Tracker for the Corporate and Litigation Departments at Selene Finance. She was also instrumental in managing hundreds of loan servicing litigation matters nationwide, negotiating multiple matters in-house, saving well over two-hundred thousand annually in legal costs and expenses.
Christine joined AHP Servicing LLC in August 2021 and served as General Counsel overseeing the AHP corporate family, providing transactional and strategic legal support. She was responsible for vendor management and oversight, in addition to drafting and negotiating vendor agreements and client contracts. Christine oversaw and directly managed all litigation, both at the company level and loan level, on mortgage loans serviced by AHP. She analyzed and tracked customer communications for trends in organizational performance. She also oversaw the licensing of all AHP entities and mortgage loan originators. She advised on legal and regulatory developments impacting business activities as well as employment-related matters. Christine worked closely with all departments at AHP to identify, mitigate, and prevent risk to the Company and its clients.
Christine departed AHP Servicing in March 2023 and is currently self-employed, handling various family law, probate, and litigation matters.
A Cleveland native (Go Browns!) Christine holds an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies from Boheckers Business College, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from Hiram College, and a Juris Doctor from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. While obtaining these degrees, Christine worked full-time for several prominent Cleveland-based law firms and was a student member of the Federal Bar Association in Cleveland, Ohio. After giving up her snowshoes, Christine relocated to Florida and is admitted to practice in all state courts in Florida and also admitted in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
In her free time, Christine volunteers for K9s for Warriors, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc., and Three Rivers Legal Services, assisting in divorce, landlord disputes, estate, and breach of contract matters.
